About THE MADISON CRAWL Recognized as Cleveland's Barrelhouse Boogie Kings, The Madison Crawl revives the raw, earthy, swingin sounds of boogie blues, and recreates an atmosphere reminiscent of the clubs, dance halls and juke joints of the 1930s, 40s and 50s. Founded in 2003 by bassist Chris Stovicek, this young band has spent the last couple of years honing their chops in clubs, halls and ballrooms around Cleveland, Ohio. The Madison Crawl has developed a reputation for their jumpin rhythms, wailing jives, hip charm and retro style. Whether appearing in a pavilion arena, a concert hall or a corner pub these journeymen of jump deliver with reverent authenticity... the purity, simplicity and gritty soulfulness of the boogie woogie and swing traditions. The Madison Crawl's infectious beats, tremendous showmanship and dynamic solos bring to life the irrepressible music of such hallowed greats as T-Bone Walker, Louis Jordan, Howlin Wolf, Screamin Jay Hawkins, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, and Big Joe Turner. So if you're looking for thumpin vintage boogie sounds, be sure to book the Barrelhouse Boogie Kings: The Madison Crawl. THE MADISON CRAWL: General Info
